Kent Bees - 14x12 Nuc (2026 Spring Correx)

£250.00

Our 6 frame 14x12 nucs are all genuine UK open mated bees. Regionally adapted, perfect for South East England or the rest of the UK.  We pride ourselves on making our own UK bees and queens. Not made from imports.

Our Kent Bees nucs are produced at our Kent nuc site surrounded by open meadow, woodland, and a nature reserve making it the perfect spot for our Kent breeding nursery.

Our Spring nucs are made once a good number of drones are seen [normally April]. Then mating occurs and nucs are normally ready in May.

This is our 6 frame correx nuc version. Bees come in a correx travel nuc [correx box not pictured]. Bees should be transferred to a full hive on the same day. There will be a minimum of 3 frames of brood and 1 frame of stores. Everything that a colony needs to thrive.  All frames are good quality wired frames.

What to expect from your nuc?

  • Bees - 6 frames will be covered with bees

  • Brood - at least 3 frames will have brood in all stages, normally more

  • Stores - at least 1 frame of stores, normally more.

  • Queen - marked and laying nicely.
